Vision and Values

At Tower Primary School & Nursery our aim is to provide an environment where each child is able to:

To achieve

  • Achieve in every aspect of their education by providing opportunities for children to be confident, independent and capable which is recognised, encouraged and rewarded.
  • Know that they are cared for in a nurturing environment which is safe, understanding, supportive and considerate and fosters British values of democracy, the rule of law, mutual respect, tolerance, kindness, trust and teamwork.
  • Achieve their full potential through a broad, balanced, stimulating and creative curriculum which provides challenge for all abilities.
  • Develop cognitive, physical, emotional, spiritual and moral development, regardless of gender, race, ability, age, faith or religion or socio-economic background so that an inclusive culture exists in the school.

We teach a Growth Mind-set through our PSHE scheme Jigsaw, a well researched approach built around the work of Guy Claxton and Carol Dweck, which actively builds the power to learn, celebrating the opportunities to make mistakes and grow through them, surprise our friends and ourselves with what we can all accomplish in all areas of our lives.
